What Rule Audit is, and isn't

Rule Audit lets you build trading strategies from rules, test them on historical market data, and get a summary of how they would have performed. The Soros assistant helps you build and understand strategies.

Rule Audit is a research and education tool. It is not investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell anything, or a signal service. We are not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser or research analyst. Backtests describe the past on the data tested and don’t predict future results; real trading can differ because of prices, costs, slippage and liquidity. Trading leveraged products such as forex and CFDs carries a high risk of loss. Any trading decision is yours alone.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older and able to make a binding contract.
• Keep your sign-in details safe; you’re responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person per account. Don’t share an account or create several to get more free use.

Plans and payment

• New accounts get a one-off trial with a limited number of backtests and Soros messages.
• Paid plans (Lite, Trader and Pro) are subscriptions that renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. Each plan has monthly backtest and Soros message allowances, which reset on the 1st of each month (UTC). Unused allowance doesn’t carry over.
• Prices are shown before you pay, include GST where it applies, and are charged in rupees in India and US dollars elsewhere. Coupons apply only as stated when you use them.
• Payments are handled by Razorpay under its own terms.
• We may change prices or allowances; changes apply from your next renewal, and we’ll tell you before then.
• Cancelling and refunds work as described in our cancellation and refund policy.

Acceptable use

Don’t:

• break the law, or use Rule Audit to mislead others, for example by presenting backtests as guaranteed or live results;
• try to get around plan limits, rate limits or security, access other people’s accounts or data, or probe or attack our systems;
• scrape, copy or resell the service or its market data, or use automated tools against it beyond normal use;
• upload anything unlawful or harmful, or that you don’t have the right to share.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Your content

Strategies and other content you create stay yours. You let us store and process them to run the service, including sending Soros messages to our AI provider. Anyone you give a result link to can see that result. See the privacy policy for how we handle data.

Our service

• Rule Audit, its software, design and published templates belong to us or our licensors.
• Market data comes from third-party providers. We try to make it and our calculations accurate, but they can contain gaps or errors, and some markets or history may not be available.
• We may change, add or remove features. We aim to keep Rule Audit available but don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Liability

Rule Audit is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for trading losses or any decision you make using Rule Audit, or for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or data. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.

Ending

You can stop using Rule Audit and delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering Rule Audit; if we stop it, we’ll refund any prepaid period you can no longer use.

Changes, law and contact

• If we change these terms, we’ll update the date above and tell you of important changes before they apply. Using Rule Audit after that means you accept them.
• These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, India have jurisdiction.
